An impressive plot of land in Cookridge, Leeds, is being given a new lease of life, following a successful sale facilitated by Bradley Hall.

The full-service property firm has completed the sale of land at 82 and 82A Otley Old Road in Cookridge, Leeds.

The generous site used to be home to a local garage before closing its doors and standing empty for a number of years – until new buyers recognised its potential.

Spanning 0.329 acres, the land is situated in the heart of Cookridge and within easy reach of the town’s amenities, as well as Cookridge Hall Golf Club and Golden Acre Park.

It was sold with planning secured for nine two-bedroom flats, as well as a single retail unit, and the new owners intend to begin development as soon as possible.

Once complete, the site is set to significantly enhance and improve the area.

Andrew Spencer, commercial agency surveyor at Bradley Hall’s Leeds branch, said: “After extensive interest from multiple parties, we are really pleased to have completed the sale of this land.

“Our clients had already secured the planning and the new owner is looking to start the development as soon as possible. This represents a great opportunity for them to add to their rental portfolio and to create some quality properties.

“We have other strong demand for this kind of opportunity and are actively looking and keen to secure other similar instructions at the earliest opportunity.”
